Effective Date: January 1, 2026
By visiting adelantofenceanddeck.com, contacting Adelanto Fence & Deck, or entering into a service agreement with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
These terms apply to all visitors to adelantofenceanddeck.com and to all customers who hire Adelanto Fence & Deck for construction or installation services.
Adelanto Fence & Deck provides residential and light commercial deck construction, fence installation, pergola installation, and related outdoor structure services in Adelanto, CA and the surrounding High Desert region.
All services are performed by or under the supervision of licensed, insured professionals. The scope of work for each project is defined in a written proposal or contract signed by both parties before work begins.
Written estimates are provided at no charge following an on-site visit. An estimate reflects the cost of the scope of work as described at the time of the visit and is valid for 30 days from the date issued.
Estimates may be subject to change if site conditions, material costs, or the scope of work changes after the estimate is issued. Any changes to the original scope that affect cost will be discussed with you and documented in writing before additional work is performed.
Verbal commitments from field staff are not binding. Only written, signed agreements represent the agreed scope and price.
Scheduling is confirmed when a signed contract and any required deposit are received. Start dates are estimates and may shift due to weather, permit delays, supply issues, or other factors outside our control. We will notify you of any significant delays.
If you need to cancel or postpone a project, notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has begun may result in charges for materials already purchased and work already performed. The specific cancellation terms for your project will be stated in your written contract.
Payment terms are set out in your written contract. A deposit is typically required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion and your satisfaction with the finished work. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed in your contract.
Final payment is due within 5 business days of project completion unless otherwise stated in writing. Overdue balances may be subject to a late fee as specified in your contract.
All pricing is in U.S. dollars. Adelanto Fence & Deck reserves the right to place a mechanic's lien on the property if payment is not received in accordance with the signed contract.
Adelanto Fence & Deck handles the permit application process for projects that require a permit under applicable local and state law. Permit fees are separate from labor and material costs and will be itemized in your estimate.
Construction will not begin until required permits are obtained. The customer is responsible for ensuring that HOA approval, if required, is obtained before or concurrently with the city permit process. We will assist with HOA submissions as requested.
Adelanto Fence & Deck warrants that workmanship will be free from defects for a period of one year from the date of final inspection or project completion, whichever is later. This warranty covers defects in installation, not normal wear and tear, damage from misuse, or conditions outside our control such as extreme weather events.
Materials and products installed are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, not by Adelanto Fence & Deck. We will assist in making warranty claims with manufacturers where possible.
The website at adelantofenceanddeck.com and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adelanto Fence & Deck will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of our website - including lost profits, lost data, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project will not exceed the amount you paid us for that project.
If a dispute arises between you and Adelanto Fence & Deck related to a project or these terms, we ask that you contact us first at team@adelantofenceanddeck.com so we have the opportunity to resolve it directly. Most concerns can be addressed promptly.
If direct resolution is not possible, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing formal legal action. Any unresolved disputes will be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action not subject to arbitration will be brought in the courts of San Bernardino County, California.
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
